When I started Share Her Story – Inspiring Women in Switzerland, it wasn’t just about recording podcasts. It was about honouring something I’ve carried with me all my life, the power of stories.
I grew up in an orphanage in India, surrounded by 350 girls, each from a different background, each with her own dreams, fears, and fire. Every night, the nuns would tell us stories of courage, kindness, and hope. Those stories shaped how I saw the world. They taught me that even when life doesn’t give you much, your story can give you everything, purpose, strength, and a reason to keep going.
Years later, after working across countries, building a career, and creating a family in Switzerland, I realised something simple yet powerful:
Stories are not just memories, they are our mirrors.
They show us who we’ve become, what we’ve overcome, and how much quiet strength lives inside us.
That’s why I created Share Her Story. Because for me, every woman I meet, interview, or help is a reflection of my own journey. Each story I tell reminds me that courage is contagious, and when one woman’s story is told, another woman dares to tell hers.
